Greensboro Community Television, Inc. Information & Entertainment... by and for the people of Guilford County, NC. Greensboro Community Television is a membership organization.

Membership is open to all residents of Greensboro and Guilford County on a non-discriminatory basis. Members of Cable 8 are able to register for the training classes, and once they are trained, are eligible to use the Greensboro Community Television studio and editing equipment. They are also eligible for a series contract once qualified.

Lorie and Mike Loomis Loomis Sr Sr Loomis tell their story about the loss of their son to a fentanyl overdose. They are dedicated to their non-for profit "Race Against Drugs". The event August 9th, 2025 helps raise awareness, release the stigma of overdoses and helps families of those lost to fentanyl.

Sam Frazier is a guitarist, singer/songwriter who has two albums out "Half a Million Years" and "Sam Frazier" He has also performed and recorded with Martha Bassett (The Goodbye Party, Magnificat, Mortal Flesh), The Piedmont Songbag (Try and Spread Some Cheer), Bruce Piephoff (Hamburger Square, The Chestnut Tree, Clockwork), Buddha Hat, Lisa Dames, The Numbers, The Prizzi’s House Band, The Sky Kings, Mary Lyon (Hopscotch) and The Hall Monitors. He has opened shows for Joan Armatrading, The Neville Brothers, America, The Funky Meters, The Duhks, The Del McCrory Band, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Eric Church, Craig Morgan, Root Boy Slim and others.
