"Dear Editor,

In response to a published letter in the Friday, Oct. 24, issue, I would like to point out that the derisive opening comment about “MAGA Cult members ... feel it necessary to spread misinformation” is not likely going to make the point.

Defining those who have an opposing political view as cultists is neither a convincing debate, nor is it original. I see this cult term used often, but I see no proof to back it up."

With the recent victory over Pike County, Class AA’s No. 3 Morgan County is focusing on its Oct. 31 home matchup against No. 5 Callaway (7-2, 4-0). The winner of this Friday’s top-10 matchup between the Dogs and Cavaliers will be crowned region champions.

Morgan County dominated Pike County from start to finish this past Friday at Bill Corry Stadium.
