The Kiowa County Media Center was awarded the Future of Greensburg Grant from the South Central Community Foundation to improve on the quality and ability of broadcasting Maverick Athletics. Students were able to use this equipment this past school year to learn the industry standard of broadcasting equipment after receiving the training from Media Center staff. Thank you so much to the South Central Community Foundation for helping to create an opportunity for the students in our community to learn skills and be trained in the broadcasting industry.

As we approach the start of the Mavericks Athletics seasons, we want to thank all of those that continue to support us in what we do through your sponsorships. TECH KIDS is starting back up on September 9th! TECH KIDS is a free program offered to all students in Kiowa County, grades K-5th! Students will work on typing, learn basic computer skills, design, 3D printing and more. We will have 2 sessions each Monday throughout the school year, K-2nd will be from 4:15-5:00 and 3rd-5th will be from 5:00-5:45.
