After discussing our current situation with the team, I am writing to share an update on our future.
We have been running as a non-profit for over six years, and I truly expected that we would have established a sustainable community of giving partners by now. Unfortunately, that is not the case, likely due to my own lack of pursuing the generosity of sincere believers, churches, and businesses. Because of these funding challenges and the rising costs, this will likely be our final year traveling for regional services.
We are incredibly excited and fully committed to making our six scheduled events in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois our best yet! I am grateful for the dedication of our team to ensure these final dates are a success: Bre has delayed her enlistment to help us through this season and Gabby has resigned from her job to be available to manage our stage and be the monitor engineer.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to focus our efforts more locally from Charleston, SC, to Charlotte, NC, and up to Richmond, VA. Our ultimate goal is to have a vibrant community right here, building a local foundation similar to what we achieved in central Ohio, including hosting bands by the beach in Jacksonville!
Currently, diesel fuel costs represent our primary financial obstacle. If you can help, that would be awesome! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
