I don’t think the general public realizes how much of this BS female and male massage therapists and estheticians deal with on a regular basis.

Since shifting my solo practice to a more women-centered model, I don’t receive nearly as many inappropriate solicitations. I still work with male clients, but they must be referred by a current client, friend, or someone I know and trust. The men I work with respect me, respect my profession, respect boundaries, and know exactly how to conduct themselves.

I genuinely LOVE what I do. I love helping people feel better, move better, and feel more comfortable in their bodies. But choosing a career centered around touch and wellness should never mean accepting sexual harassment, inappropriate comments, or feeling unsafe in your own treatment room.

Massage therapy is healthcare and wellness—not an invitation. Respect the profession. Respect the therapist. Respect the boundaries.

You’re paying for 17+ years of experience, continued education, specialized training, and a therapist who takes the time to understand YOUR body and YOUR needs.

I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Therapist, Prenatal/Postnatal Specialist, and Certified Fertility Massage Specialist with advanced experience in post-op recovery, oncology massage, sports massage, cupping, fibrosis and more.

There will always be someone cheaper.

Just like there will always be someone more expensive.
