When we began as an official publishing company, we thought we would simply "publish books."
We had a name. We had a logo and package templates gifted to us immediately!

On September 7, we created our first customized package, and within the month, had our first client. Only ... when it came time to publish the title - after successfully publishing books about four years now, the book would NOT publish.

After several failed attempts, I (Zoë) began to pray. I thought that all was falling apart and that surely ... surely I wasn't about to have to refund our FIRST client.

After prayer - I believed it was shown to me the TYPE of books that Zoe Life Publishing would deliver and the title I was trying to publish under the "name and brand" of "Zoë Life" wasn't going to make it!
I apologized to the author, disappointed at how the first "official" client's experience was going BUT - it wasn't until I took our brand name OFF of the book that the book successfully submitted to publish.

Lesson #1/7 Walk in your purpose and let your purpose drive your success. Our purpose as we found, was not simply to "publish books" - our purpose was to publish books that bring LIFE, books with a divine message, books from authors who have a testimony, books that TRANSFORM people's lives. Our purpose is simple: to BIRTH the books .. and let the books BIRTH life into the reader. We commit to that purpose again now, seven years later - to make sure to BIRTH content that will BRING LIFE to YOUR life! We know that being committed to this niche alone is a sacrifice - but it's been a sacrifice well worth making.
