Tropical Storm Ophelia is currently a strong tropical storm with maximum sustained winds near 60 mph with higher gusts. As Ophelia track closer to North Carolina, several towns and cities will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, strong breezes and high surf along with tidal and sound-side flooding. I will provide updates throughout the day.
