I’m pretty sure the parenting handbook skipped the chapter on what to do when your kid is bored of school …

I obviously want him to be a kid and enjoy kindergarten, but I also don’t want him getting bored because he already knows the material.

We’ve been using IXL to figure out where he actually is academically and give him things to work on at his level instead of just going by his grade.

3 months later I’m dealing with ptsd from being denied miscarriage care for 3 weeks in my state due to abortion laws. No heart beat, no viability, no dr telling me life was a chance… just being forced to be an incubator for a not viable pregnancy and risk infection for 3 weeks because the “law” said I had to

I felt forced to move on for a while like I couldn’t talk about it anymore but the reality is it’s not going to change unless I DO talk about it. 3 months later and I still think about it every day.

It’s hard to talk about, every time I do I find myself in a panic attack. I can’t go to the doctors anymore and feel safe, I feel scared and traumatized.

Now I’m working to change dr protocols and advocating for women in these states so no other woman has to endure this pain. I’m still at the restaurant but I’m not done fighting either 💕
