When it is deadline time and the week has been full of meetings, you use your time wisely and get work done while waiting for an oil change.

This morning as the day was getting started, a member of our staff discovered a fire in the housekeeping area under Faith Apartments. Thanks to his quick thinking, all the guests were immediately evacuated. Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue responded immediately and the fire was extinguished quickly.

While there is damage to the housekeeping area, in God’s providence, no guests, Bonclarken staff, or rescue personnel were injured. The guests who were staying in Faith were able to retrieve their belongings and have been relocated.

Praise God for His mercy and perfect timing! We are so thankful that the fire was discovered soon after it began, for the quick response from our staff member and Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue, and that everyone is safe! Please continue to keep our groups this weekend in your prayers.
