Back in the summer we did a giveaway for our Remember Us sessions. If you were one of the families chosen, I haven’t forgotten you.

We haven’t taken these yet, and after looking at the calendar and the flow of things, I’ve decided to hold these off until spring. I want to give them the space, energy, and season they deserve instead of squeezing them in just to check a box.

Some of my first steps into photography weren’t behind the lens of a wedding or a senior shoot—they were right here in Muhlenberg County, chasing the way our landscapes look when light and shadow collide.

This long exposure of the Muhlenberg County Courthouse and fountain square feels like one of those full-circle moments. The glow, the movement, the history—it’s a reminder of why I picked up a camera in the first place.

Our county has a way of offering up scenes that deserve to be seen twice—once with your eyes, and once captured forever.

Every senior session has its own story—and Jonah’s was no different. From the locker room grit to the Friday night lights, and even out in the quiet of the fields, we captured every side of who he is in this moment.

Jonah showed up ready to represent not just the jersey he’s worn, but the man he’s becoming. The pride in his mom’s eyes, the focus in his own, the balance of toughness and style—all of it came through frame after frame.

Tonight took us back to Hopkins County for Aden’s senior photos—backroads, gravel stretches, and the same streets I grew up walking in Mortons Gap. This wasn’t just a quick point-and-shoot. It was intentional storytelling.

Look at these frames:
📸 Leaned against his black Chevy in the tall grass—confidence in posture, grit in the backdrop.
📸 Standing firm on a backroad with headlights behind him—the kind of cinematic frame that says this is my lane, my moment.
📸 Kneeling low in front of those beams—quiet but powerful.

Afterward, his mom messaged us:
