celebrated my 26th a bit early! I am so thankful for making it through the last year! 3 surgeries and a cross country move was really stressful, but my husband has been my rock through it all. I am so thankful for him and our marriage. I am thankful for the way he has supported me in getting healthy. I am in a lot less pain than I was a year ago, and able to be a lot more active! We hiked to Soco Falls today! The internet said it was a short walk from the road, but the internet lied the trail was very steep and somewhat long, but I made it! Huffing and puffing, I made it!
POTS, hEDS, Endometriosis, May Thurners Syndrome, and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome made me feel like I had lost everything. The last year has put both of us through so much pain, but I am finally reaping the rewards. I have been slowly working on gaining my strength back. I’m not anemic anymore, and now that I’m getting off blood thinners, I’m slowly gaining more energy. I have felt like a zombie the last few months. It was so nice to be in nature this weekend and celebrate turning another year older!
my birthday weekend in the mountains took a turn when I learned one of my close friends passed away. life is so short and so precious. I had another friend pass away earlier this week. I am heartbroken and grieving, but also thankful I will see them again in heaven 🕊️
Life is short. Hug your people & tell them you love them. Celebrate the big and little wins! Eat more cake & get some sunshine on your face. here’s to 26 🤍
