Albus went for a super fun doggy day out recently with an amazing family. Here’s what they have to say about this happy pup!!
“Albus is a handsome boy that we had the pleasure of taking on a "Doggy's Day Out" through Greenville County Animal Care. He is a perfect balance of activity and chill. Albus is very excited at first, but settles into familiarity soon. He is very treat and toy motivated! He is able to do "sit", "down", "wait" and "roll over". Those are not yet consistent, but we saw fast progress on our outing. He is very polite in public and a joy with everyone he meets. He's curious when he sees another dog, but he does not bolt for them, growl, or bark. In fact, he didn't bark the entire time of our outing. He stayed on the nature path and sniffed around. There were squirrels and he watched, but did not try to chase them. He enjoyed shopping at Petco and pet smart. He picked out his own toy and treats. Albus takes treats gently. His favorite toy seems to be a ball and a squeaky stuffed animal. Albus didn't seem phased with looking at the adoptable cats at pet smart. With no strong prey drive, he would likely do well with cats. He enjoys pets on his head and belly when he rolls over. He will give occasional kisses and nuzzle up to your face if invited. Albus rides excellent in a car and jumps in and out when prompted. Some of his favorite foods were Chick fil a chicken nuggets having a picnic, cheez its, and pup cup from starbucks. He was wonderful with my 9 year old daughter and. Albus is just grateful to live life. He's a joy and adorable when he smiles. He will make a wonderful addition to a household and make memories for years. He is 4 years old, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. Go meet him at Greenville County Animal Care!
