MONDAY MORNING REACTION: Following a huge, season-changing win against the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles, in a hostile environment on a short week, the Broncos showed the world that they’re closer to 5-0 than 0-5 (just in case you’d considered either, extreme). Column by Doug Ottewill

With a signature win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos have been launched on a new trajectory.

Quarterback Jarrett Stidham and left guard Ben Powers are both headed back to Denver for different reasons. Stidham and his wife are expecting a child any day now, and Sean Payton wants him to be there for it. There’s a chance Stidham catches a flight later in the week to London.

Powers, on the other hand, is heading back to Denver, where he’ll undergo testing on a bicep injury suffered during Sunday’s win. Depending on testing, Powers making a trip to London later on in the week might not be in the cards, which would be a big blow to the Broncos offensive line. Column by Cody Roark
