Countybank’s Board of Directors has appointed Peggy Chamblee to Senior Vice President.
 
Chamblee joined the bank in 2018 as Vice President and Financial Center Manager of the Anderson Highway 81 office and was promoted in 2024 to Retail Banking Manager, overseeing all retail financial centers across the Upstate. With 32 years of banking experience, Chamblee is responsible for guiding the retail team to meet strategic goals and enhance customer experiences. She emphasizes relationship-driven community banking and staff development. Chamblee lives in Anderson with her husband, John, of 43 years. They have three daughters and are active in the farming community and local causes such as Hope Missions and AIM. Congratulations, Peggy!

Staff member reported seeing Pastor Waller receiving sexual favor from a "vulnerable patient" during hospital visit. Prayed for the patient afterwards, “God please heal our sister, Amen.” (according to the police report).
