STORYLINE:
Short Film/POC: When Steve and Stephanie are expecting their first baby, they do everything they possibly can to prepare for a successful birth and good parenting. When the unexpected happens, they fight to save their unborn child. As a medical team jumps into action, they realize some undeniable divine coincidences and the miracle of baby Max doesn't stop there.

STEPHANIE
Female 22-26 , caucasian, dark hair. Her unwavering faith is tested when the birth of her child takes an unexpected turn.

STEVE-
Male 28-35, caucasian. First time father. He is a source of comfort and peace. He faces an intense inner battle between faith and fear while his wife and unborn child are in the operating room.

DOCTOR
Male 55-70, any ethnicity. Nearing the end of the night shift, this Doctor is burning out between a job that is no longer fulfilling and problems in his personal life. He needs to show a variety of strong emotions. Pivotal character.

SECURITY GUARD
Male, 30-60. Any ethnicity.

SURGEON
Male or Female. 40+, Any ethnicity. One line.

KARA
Female, 40-50s. Any ethnicity. Caring, compassionate. She is a lamaze instructor and is a huge support to expectant parents. With all her years of experience, she wasn't prepared for what happened when she showed up to work that day.

MALE TODDLER, brown hair, (ages 2-4) - a happy child with a good disposition. Autistic or special needs preferred. Parent/Guardian must accompany child on set.

MALE CHILD, brown hair, (ages 5-7) - a happy child with a good disposition. Autistic or special needs preferred. Will be cast as an older version of the male toddler. Parent/Guardian must accompany child on set.

MALE CHILD, brown hair (age 10-15) - happy, energetic, good disposition. Autistic or special needs preferred. Will be cast as an older version of a young boy. Parent/Guardian may accompany child on set.
