Jadyn Langley, 20, was attacked by a pit bull (pictured) Tuesday evening in Livingston, TX, area after knocking on her neighbor's door. Jadyn says the neighbor sent the pit bull after her, saying, “Get her.”

Jadyn says her aunt owns the property and is evicting the neighbor. Jadyn believes the woman was mad at her due to being evicted from her residence.

Jadyn said her brother Cadyn Langley saved her from being mauled possibly to death. She now has nerve damage in her arm.

Little 9-year-old Aleida Perez of South Texas is currently battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia at Texas Children's Hospital; sadly, she has been vomiting and running fevers, her mom Maggie says.

Aleida started a higher dose of chemo on Tuesday; since then she has been feeling the side effects of chemo, throwing up nonstop.

Aleida's mother, Maggie, says this has been the hardest battle that I ever imagined my family would go through. She says she feels alone watching her daughter suffer and can’t do anything to take away the pain.

20-year-old Esteban Garza has sadly passed away. His girlfriend found him deceased inside his home in San Antonio, TX, during the afternoon. She thought it was strange he was still in bed.

Esteban was a UTSA neuroscience student, an EMT serving between Corpus Christi, TX, and San Antonio, TX, who wanted to save lives and dreamed of one day becoming a doctor.

He was 3 weeks shy of his 21st birthday.

Little 7-year-old Ava Leilani from South Texas, a cheerleader, is preparing to battle Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Ava went months with mystery fevers, aches, and exhaustion with no answers; sadly, they got the answer nobody wanted to hear: cancer.

Ava’s family and friends are all rallying behind her, as she has already undergone procedures and officially started treatment.

Longview, TX, newlyweds are stuck in Jamaica as Hurricane Melissa, a category 5, approaches with 175 mph winds.

Hunter and Kasydee Bishop, the couple, said their faith is getting them through the unexpected extended stay, along with prayers from family and friends back home.

Hurricane Melissa is expected to be the strongest hurricane to hit Jamaica since records began in 1851.

10-year-old Sophia Martinez is no longer fighting for her life after accidentally getting hit in the head with a baseball bat while playing at home in Canyon Lake, TX.

Sophia was airlifted to Austin, TX, in critical condition, where doctors discovered a severe brain bleed and swelling. Emergency surgery stopped the bleeding and saved her life.

Sophia thankfully is on the road to recovery.

Hector Cuarenta, 17, has just been arrested in connection with the shooting deaths of Dequavious “Qua” Brooks, 17 years old (pictured on right); Edward Alejandro Rivera, 18 years old; and Emilio Perez, 16 years old, in Nacogdoches, TX, Friday morning.

Trunargo Hamilton, 37, was arrested after being caught watching someone and m@sturbating to someone outside an apartment window in Nacogdoches, TX, shortly after midnight last night.

This is the 3rd time he's been arrested in the past week. Trunargo has a very extensive criminal history, including robbery and spending years in prison.

Trunargo, who was arrested by the Nacogdoches Police Department, is currently at the Nacogdoches County Jail. No bond has been set yet.
