Always looking for an excuse to fire up the pit, and this one did not disappoint. This smoked maple sausage chub was a straight-up crowd-pleaser. Check out how easy it is to knock this out:

Smoked Maple Sausage Chub

Ingredients
• 1 roll Jimmy Dean maple sausage
• Your go-to BBQ rub (I used Texas Oil Dust’s Piggy Bank)
• Maple syrup
• B&B Competition Charcoal Briquettes

Instructions
1. Load your pit with B&B briquettes and roll it up to about 350°.
2. Unwrap the sausage, keeping it in one solid log.
3. Cover the whole thing in your BBQ rub.
4. Smoke for roughly 45 minutes, or until it hits 160°F inside.
5. Pull it, drizzle that maple syrup, and let it shine.
6. Slice it up and enjoy.

Super simple. Super good.

It’s really as easy as 1-2-3. Smoked turkey breasts don’t have to be dry—brine it, smoke it, rest it, and you’re golden. Give this one a shot for the holidays.

Turkey Brine
1/2 cup of to 64 oz of water
Brine for 12 hours.

Seasoning
Pat it dry and hit it with Trifecta or whatever rub you like.

Cooking Method
Smoke at 300°F for about 2 hours or until it hits 155°F in the thickest part.
Wrap it in foil with a stick of butter and a good squeeze of Mike’s Hot Honey.
Rest it in a warmer or dry cooler for an hour.

Slice it up and enjoy the juiciest turkey you’ve ever made.
