Plot twist: My 5 years in education prepared me for marketing more than any course ever could.

Here's what teaching teenagers taught me about getting people to actually pay attention:

📱 Attention spans are SHORT. You've got about 3 seconds to make someone care. If your hook doesn't grab them immediately, they're gone. (Sound familiar, social media?)

✨ Authenticity beats perfection every time. Kids can smell BS from a mile away. So can your customers. The brands that win are the ones that are real, not the ones with the fanciest graphics.

🔁 Repetition works, but make it interesting. You can't say something once and expect it to stick. But you also can't just say the same thing the same way over and over. You need to repeat your message in different, engaging ways.

💜 Make it about THEM, not you. The moment I made my lessons about what students cared about instead of what I wanted to teach, everything changed. Same with marketing. Your audience doesn't care about your business. They care about how you solve THEIR problem.

🎯 Clear expectations get results. Tell people exactly what you want them to do. "Turn to page 42" works. So does "Click the link in bio." Vague asks get vague results.
