**7 DAY FORECAST**

Want your business sponsored on our forecast? Shoot us a message for more details!

We have a lot of rain coming this week and as we head into the week of Thanksgiving. Starting really this Wednesday through Thanksgiving Day we will have a chance of rain every day. Will see it? Maybe , maybe not..it is Texas. Over the past few days we have seen record heat across the area with temperatures nearing the 90 degree mark..its hard decorating for Christmas while dripping sweat..

Overall we will pick up several inches of rain, 2-4” is a possibility for sure with a few isolated higher amounts. A Flood Watch will probably be issued sometime this week for our entire area.

Monday-Tuesday:
High temperatures in the low to mid 80s with humid conditions and breezy at times. No rain is expected but some morning / evening clouds are not out of the question. Overnight temperatures in the muggy category so only dropping to the upper 60s / low 70s.

Wednesday-Friday:
A stretch of active settles in Wednesday as a slow moving storm system moves over us. Majority of Wednesday is dry and warm but once we head into the late evening / overnight hours we begin to see some light to moderate rain move in. Thursday morning will likely feature periods of showers which will give away throughout the day to clouds ahead of our main disturbance. We warm to the upper 70s with a southwest breeze. Once we head into the evening hours widespread rain will move in, as of now most storms will be below severe weather limits but a few strong / heavy downpours are not out of the question. Friday will have passing showers and cloudy conditions at times. High temperatures run to the mid 70s once again with a southwest wind. Overnight lows fall back down to the low 50s as dry air settles in.

Saturday-Sunday:
Saturday will have more rain moving in through the late afternoon as of now but its a way out so timing will have to be fine tuned. Heavy widespread rain is a possibility, especially into Sunday. High temperatures fall back to the 60s Sunday as a cold front blasts in. Nothing crazy though.

No arctic air is currently on the way but there is some signs of a decent cool down either on Thanksgiving or shortly after! Stay tuned here at CCLW for more updates.

During this very active weather stretch now is a great time to join our Community Weather group! Lindsey Hayes will be keeping up with the conditions too on there, you can also post your own weather conditions or what you may be seeing at your house!

**7 DAY FORECAST**

First freeze of the season is expected Monday AM, along with wind chills down in the 20s. Make sure to bundle up and protect those plants specifically. This is a bit early for our first freeze as we typically see it later in November towards Thanksgiving.

Another big weather event the next couple of weeks will be our peak fall foliage so get out there and get some great photos! Especially between November 14th - November 25th. It won’t be extremely eye catching this year due to several reasons so don’t have high hopes..

Monday-Sunday:
Not much will happen this week, we start off cold but quickly end the week with warm temperatures well above average. Be prepared on Tuesday for some gusty south winds at times.

As we head into next weekend there is signs that the weather pattern will change, not only next weekend but the entire week before Thanksgiving looks busy with multiple rain chances and some cold shots here and there. Enjoy this week of relatively calm weather before things HOPEFULLY start changing.

Cold front moves in this evening, you won’t notice too much except a wind shift and breezy at times, 10-20 MPH. The cold stuff moves in tomorrow into tomorrow night. Protect those 4 P’s, People Pets, Plants, Pipes just to be safe.

⚠️ALERT⚠️

A Freeze Watch is in place for our entire area from Sunday evening through Monday morning. I fully anticipate we see our first freeze of the season! Low temperatures as of now will be in the low 30s with sheltered areas / typically cooler areas dropping to the upper 20s. Remember to protect those sensitive vegetation and crops and bring in the animals.

Winds chills will also be in the 20s, possibly low 20s at times Monday AM. Bundle up the kiddos!

Heres what to expect:

Saturday evening a cold front will move in, bringing with it falling temperatures and strong winds 20-30 MPH from the north. Overnight temperatures will fall to the low 50s with us warming to the 60s for Sunday. Sunday is chilly with those raging north winds at 20-30 MPH. Monday is also spent in the 50s all day with a relatively calm wind 5-10 MPH. No rain / precipitation is expected at all with this frontal boundary.

11/07/2025

BIG Cold front coming in this Sunday! High temperatures in the low 50s with overnight temperatures in the low 30s. Wind chills Monday AM in the 20s. First freeze of the season is definitely possible!

A band of light rain is moving north to south, if this makes it here it will be just some light to steady rain with a rumble of thunder here and there and it would be in and out in a hour. Behind this line of showers is clearing skies and a cold front which will bring low temperatures tonight to the low 40s and upper 30s in spots!

If it can make it, expect it around 1 PM or so.

11/01/2025

Rain is possible today, 30%. It would be just light showers and nothing crazy as a cold front moves in which will keep us in the 60s all weekend.

10/28/2025

REMINDER: Burn Ban is NO LONGER in place for Henderson CO.

10/28/2025

Wind chills in the 30s are coming Thursday AM. Be ready!

High temperatures struggle to make it out of the 50s on Wednesday.
