We are officially kicking off another round of 30 Second Short Videos! The first prompt is: “Badly advertise something you own”. This is a great way to stay COVID-safe and create something fun, anyone can participate! Post your 30 second clips to Instagram or Facebook and tag You have until Tuesday, Feb. 23rd!

Happy October Mountaineers,
We are excited to announce the start of this years Annual Horror Fest! If you have any haunting ideas, you can be involved with scriptwriting, acting, and filmmaking to create a short horror film throughout the month. No experience is needed, and we can provide equipment. Shoot us an email if you have any interest, there will also be a sign up sheet across from Tay 118 soon.

We are now starting our 4th Weekly 30 Second Short starting today. The Mad Lib prompt is: "You finally stepped outside of your apartment/home for the first time in months. What is the first thing you do?"

Now this could be our last 30 Second Short Challenge for a while, depending on if the Directors decide to do more in the Summer and possibly Fall Semester. However, we hope this inspires to just go out and make your videos. It doesn't matter what it is, we wanted people to be active during this time.

Hello Mountaineers! (This is J.R Meek speaking)

This is it, everyone. One final week before we end the school year. I will say this, this has been a really good year for Mountaineer Media. We were able to do so much that we couldn't have done before and worked with so many great people on projects, and of course, 48 Hour Film Festival.

This will be my last message to you all. Starting now, I hand over the reins of the club to Ethan Kereszturi. He is your new Lead Director from here on out. He will be leading the club as I tried to do and I'm confident in his leadership for Mountaineer Media. Good luck to you, Ethan.

Also, only one person came forward for an application to Tech Director and that is Jacob Sawatsky. He will be your Tech Director starting next school year and good luck to him.

This is it. Thank you everyone for letting me lead this club and working alongside you. I will probably see you all at Commencement in September. Meanwhile, all of you take care of yourselves.

Hello Mountaineers. We are saddened to announce that Netflix Party is canceled.

We have tried to start a Netflix Party at 7:00 p.m today, but as it stands, no one showed up in the past 30 minutes. Whether it's because no one wanted to do movie night or the feature itself is not working, it's hard to say.

For right now, there are no more Netflix Party events scheduled. If there are people who are interested in Mountaineer Media trying Netflix Party, we will plan for one more movie night. Otherwise, there will be no more movie nights for the rest of the Spring Semester.
