What a DAWG. It was an absolute pleasure watching this elk killin’ ball of hate hoist Lord Stanley again after so many deep playoff runs in recent years and a turbulent year in 2025. Love him or hate him, he is one of the greatest players of our generation. He deserved to win the cup, and was exactly what the cats needed to push them to another cup. Without him, I don’t think they would be here. IMO he should have won the Conn Smythe too because of that and how clutch he was in do or die games. Congrats big dawg now let’s go kill a high mtn white fluffer 🐐

I will never understand why God continues to bless me with far more than I deserve, but he keeps showing up every single day with more. I am living out my own dream, with a family that loves me, great friends who back me, and more damn wild adventures than I can shake a stick at.

A gnarly, roadless, wilderness chase through some of the most beautiful country on earth, ended with an arrow and the king of the mountain. This is a day that will play on repeat in my head for as long as I live. To those special people who made this possible, I will be forever indebted to you for this memory, thank you. And to the Most Valuable Momma , thank you for supporting my dream and for kicking my ass out the door to go chase it, even on the hard days. I love you 4 more than you will ever know!

I started bow hunting 10 years ago this year. This decade has been filled with a ton of failure, a million miles of growing and learning, and just enough triumph to keep me powering forward. When I was driving home from my whitetail hunt I got pretty sentimental thinking about all the people in my life who have sacrificed, helped and pushed me through this last decade of bowhunting. I might be the one in the hero shots, but believe me, there was a whole damn village behind every single photo and hunt and I truly couldn’t have done it without them. You know who you are. Last of all, I love my state. I know Colorado has changed a lot in this last decade, but it is my home and I will never let them push me out. This state was carved out by hard ass people, and I want to be one of those hard people that stays here like a burr in their saddle until the bitter end. Next species up, MOUNTAIN LION, all thanks to those hard ass, double tough people that are still in this state and fought like hell, tooth and claw to defend our rights as hunters! Let’s roll.

If not for the miles, lack of sleep, malnutrition and feet sores, would one even have hunted? What. A. Grind. And I am thankful for that grind. 2024 Once in a lifetime Archery Colorado Shiras Moose. This hunt took more than a village! It took half the damn town and you know who you are. I got to spend two weeks in what I consider the prettiest country in the world alongside family and friends and this morning it came together on a big, perfect bull. I know I’m lucky, I know I’m blessed and I am extremely grateful for both. 🏹🫎☁️9️⃣

It is possible for a normal guy to get his Grand Slam. This journey for Grafton started 9 years ago when he drew his CO Rocky tag and he closed the book this week.

Dall: 2024, AK, outfitter (req.) , and did it with a torn patella 🤣

Getting your slam is impressive. It is even more impressive to get it done before you are 40. But even more impressive is to get it done before 40 as a small business owner. You did it the right way and proved you don’t have to be a millionaire to get it done, just gotta have a little luck, a will to push yourself to the limit and be as tough as woodpecker lips. Congrats on the accomplishment of many lifetimes. Time to hang up the old Keep Hammering hat in the middle of the Slam!
