We're proud to become an affiliate of The Michael Berry Show beginning this afternoon. You may have heard Michael guest-host Clay & Buck's show from time to time. We've been big fans for some time and glad his show has now been syndicated. The Michael Berry Show will be heard live weekdays 5-7pm, followed by Jesse Kelly 7-10pm.

We will be premiering a new show on Monday. Jesse is like your neighbor buddy you have a beer on the porch with. A very down-to-Earth, common sense guy who happens to host a radio show. He began his show just shy of three years ago. In the time since, we've had a lot of folks asking us about carrying him and we're happy to now become an affiliate. Give him a shot on your way home from work, we think you'll enjoy it!

We wanted to go ahead and remind everyone that we will be airing our special Veterans Day Program with Bill Yancy interviewing Jody Chorba at 9am tomorrow morning on both stations. Jody's dad Joe Chorba was a WWII Vet and coached football at Guntersville for many years. Make sure to tune in on Veterans Day at 9:00am!

Pretty bittersweet. Today will be the last Rush show. Last time that intro music will be heard on a live radio show. Final edition of open line Friday ☹️ We dug up our first official contract with Rush Limbaugh from 1991. Great 30 years. New chapter with Dan Bongino begins Monday

Rest in peace, Roger Hawkins, iconic drummer in the "Swampers" and Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. He is shown here during session work for Aretha Franklin with Duane, producer Jerry Wexler and bassist Jerry Jemmott at Atlantic Studios in New York, New York, January 9/10, 1969. Hawkins contributed his masterful drum skills to countless hits, in fact, Wexler called him "the greatest drummer of all time." He leaves behind a legacy of work that will be treasured forever. Fly high, Roger.

The Rush Limbaugh Show this week will be a celebration of his life and legacy.

Today’s program will be quite poignant, with Kathryn Limbaugh appearing at the beginning of the program and taking calls from listeners looking to share their condolences and stories with Rush’s immediate family. Mark Steyn will guide those conversations through Rush’s frequent mention of Kathryn in connection with all they did together with the involvement of the listeners. The majority of each program this week will feature audio from Rush’s 32 years of programming, guided by the trusted voices that Rush’s audience has known for many years. The content will showcase his wisdom and humor, his instincts and playfulness within the context of today’s news events.

It's with great sadness to hear America's Anchorman has signed off for good. The first time our station manager Kerry heard Rush Limbaugh on the radio he instantly knew he was magic and began bootlegging his show until he could become an official affiliate a short time later. That was around 1990 and Rush has been with us every weekday since - for over 30 years. Middays will never be the same but we're grateful for all the lessons and time we did have. RIP Rush.
