Hey Guthrie! Walk Guthrie had a very small bag this run but with HUGE and amazing offers! Generations Church is where it's at! Why? Because Generations is answering the call to "go into all the world sharing the good news" and that includes every living room in Guthrie! This church has some very special leadership, and they are bravely leading their congregation into discipleship in areas and to people that need the gospel the most. From saving victims of s*x trafficking, to feeding and providing for those in our community that are lacking in resources, they are reaching where other hands have stopped and are running toward the fray to be a light for others. The champions program is starting, so that families with kiddos with special needs can come and worship too. So if you have needed a church home but have been hesitant due to lack of options...Generations church is your answer! They are also welcoming in a way that is rare at churches! Sometimes as a "church visitor" you can be made to feel like your being interrogated before church, in the hot spotlight during service, and second priority to lunch once service is over. The congregation is chill, and welcoming and the environment they create is peaceful and comfortable to worship God your way. As an ordained minister I'm interested in all religions as well as other Christian denominations, and so we try to visit where ever we get invited. So I have to give a shout out to BIG George Shafer for the invite!
