Dear God,

Sometimes we don’t know how to love ourselves.
We’ve been so used to proving our worth
Earning our place
Trying to be enough for people who were never meant to hold us.

We’ve called it love...
but it was fear.
Fear of being alone.
Fear of not being chosen.
Fear that if we stopped giving,
we’d stop being needed.

But it’s heavy, God.
Trying to keep everyone else together
while we quietly fall apart.

So today, I pray for the one reading this.

I pray they forgive themselves for the years they didn’t know how to choose themselves.
For the moments they stayed where they weren’t seen.
For the times they silenced their needs just to be accepted.

I pray they stop calling survival strength.
I pray they stop mistaking pain for purpose.

God, let them love themselves the way You do...
Not when they’re perfect.
Not when they’ve healed everything.
But right here, in the mess. In the middle.

Show them they are not hard to love.
Show them they are worthy of rest,
of boundaries,
of peace that doesn’t come with conditions.

Help them come back to themselves.
To the little kid inside who just wanted to be held and told,
"You don’t have to try so hard. You’re already enough."

Wrap them in Your arms, God.
Not to fix them...
but to remind them they were never broken.

Let this be the moment they stop chasing love…
and start coming home to it.
