This month our Horror Book Club read The Bog Wife by Kay Chronister — and once again, a group of people from wildly different walks of life came together over the most beautifully unsettling story. That’s the magic of this club. We didn’t expect to find our people here, but here we are.

Last week I was sitting under the carport pretending I’m not becoming one with the humidity. The Bog Wife has me in a chokehold and honestly the weather is complicit. Kay Chronister wrote a gothic novel and the atmosphere personally showed up to my house; gotta love a fully immersive experience!
