If you are a photographer, an artist, or just someone who has great pictures that incorporate the state of Maryland, I have to share this with you; Our good friend, Gail, from the Maryland Lottery stopped by The Jack Diamond Show to share an exciting opportunity! It’s the “Maryland Treasures Art Contest”. They’re asking local artists to submit original artwork that celebrates Maryland, and they’ll pick three pieces to appear on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off!

* Maryland residents 18 and older can submit entries now through Aug. 15.
* Artwork should incorporate elements of the state’s history, landmarks or culture.
* Each artist whose work is selected will receive a $4,000 award.

OK, I finally did it, and I survived the experience! Lisa Anne took me to Costco for the first time! I'll be honest with you, I hate lines, and when I saw all those cars outside of Costco in Gaithersburg, and the one here in Frederick, I just couldn't do it. But, Lisa finally convinced me and bribed me with that hotdog 🌭 and soda 🥤 for $1.50, that everybody raves about. You know what? They are right! That hotdog is outstanding! 😃 Now, I can't wait to go back! For the hot dog… 😂
