Sun Beat Films is owned by Britt and Miah Idema — a husband-and-wife team who’ve been making films together for over a decade.

In 2018 we gathered 60 of our friends and family in Costa Rica, rented a beachfront property, surfed by day and partied by night, and officially got married. That week taught us what a wedding celebration is worth — and the value of having it all on film.

Eight years and two kids later, we wouldn’t change a single moment or detail. Our wedding video still brings it all back as if it were yesterday — the commitment, the love, the joy. Before the kids, before the pressure and the responsibilities, it was just us.

That’s the feeling we’re after in every film we make. We’d love to do the same for you. 🫶
