MAUI COMICS AND COLLECTIBLES IS CLOSING ITS STOREFRONT AFTER 10 YEARS!
We are saddened to announce that we are closing our physical storefront after 10 years of comic adventures on Maui. From now until the store is closed EVERYTHING IS 50% OFF!
We appreciate all the support over the years from the community and particularly we want to thank Joe of Request Music for allowing us to set up shop inside his store since 2020 in an attempt to rebound from the massive economic downturn. Unfortunately, we were never able to recoup the sales required to re-open a standalone store.
Maui Comics will continue to exist as an online and appointment-only retailer, but we will no longer have a physical storefront. We will continue to order new comics and supply subscribers as long as we are able to, but all orders must be made 2 months in advance directly out of the DC Direct (DC & Image) or Marvel Previews (Marvel, IDW, Dark Horse). Since our order amounts will be reduced, the distributors will eventually cancel our retailer discount, at which point we will have to end all new comics ordering. We want to give subscribers the chance to find other sources for new comics before that happens and we will do our best to continue existing subscriptions until that time comes.
