The SafeWay I just moved next to went on strike for a little under a week before an agreement was reached. In that time, the people in the area respected the strike so hard that it resulted in the store closing; like it's perma closed... all boarded up and everything. I called to find outif it would be reopening as its literally a stones throw away from me, and its not; the nearest one to me is 6miles away.
Anyways moral of this story is, change only happens when bad things happen or get threatened to happen and a strike and the negative natural consequences of a well respected strike are the chosen and agreed upon bad things to happen vs what used to happen before unions were a thing.
If you don't like the negative natural consequences of a strike, then take that up with the company the workers are striking against. Lodge complaints with that company and againtst that conpany (or the government branch thay runs that sect) The sooner they reach an agreement woth the union, the sooner the strike ends and the sooner the consequences dissipate.
Do not be a scab.
