Pulled up on No Knife Chicken & Waffles in Charlotte, NC, the new spot brought to the city by KIRK and right now they definitely have some things to work out. Takeout only, ordering outside in 90+ degree heat, and depending on the crowd, that wait could be anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours. The waffle was thick, dense, and heavy instead of light and fluffy, while the chicken tasted like standard bulk/pre-cooked wings—not what I expected after the wait. They JUST opened and aren’t fully operational yet, so if you want to try it, pull up and judge for yourself—but I’d give them some time to get everything running smoothly. 🌟 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT — Pepper Palace | Charleston, SC

If you’ve got that need for HEAT, Pepper Palace Pepper Palacemight be calling your name! 🌶️🔥 We visited their former location near Charleston City Market and sampled a few different hot sauces—and y’all know spicy really isn’t my lane, but I’ll try something! 😂 They’ve since moved to a new Charleston-area location detailed in the video, and I was glad to find out they’ve got a location in Wilmington, NC too. For the hot sauce and spicy-food lovers, definitely put Pepper Palace on your radar.

🌟 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT — Heaven Scent | Charleston, SC

Walking through Charleston City Market, I almost missed this one—but coming back around turned into a mind-blowing experience. Ausar Vandross keeps it simple with authentic African black soap and African shea butter, but what really stood out was the knowledge, customer service, and cultural education behind the products. Watching the owner engage customers and break down African culture, names, traditions, and his products made this much more than just a purchase—I patronized that day, I’ll patronize again, and next time I’ll be ordering online. 💯

Y’all say I’m always pulling up somewhere sketchy, and this one definitely looked like it was about to qualify 😂—but GeechieGarlic Crabs & Seafood is tucked inside a nicely revamped shopping center in Hanahan. This Black-owned, Gullah Geechee spot gave us hospitality from the minute we walked in, and the food was BUSSIN’, especially that garlic crab! 🦀🔥 Service was quick, they took care of us after a small hiccup, and the only thing holding them back was the music being a little too loud—I came to eat, not hit the club! 😂

Asked a few Charleston locals where to get some good barbecue, and Jim N' Nicks BBQ Jim ’N Nick’s was one of the closest and more affordable options—but affordable definitely didn’t mean lacking flavor! 🔥 From those sweet, cheesy honey biscuit-style starters—10/10 by themselves—to the sides and that juicy brisket, everything was SLAMMING. And yes, we got the brisket with the fat on it because that’s where the flavor is—if you didn’t know, now you know! With a Myrtle Beach location coming, y’all better get ready.

Imma go ahead and say it...any food business pushing chx n waffles since DaBaby spot openes is pitiful. You content creators to. Y'all aint slick either. Do something new, different, fly, bring something new to the scene. Stop trying to ride somebody else wave/motion. It's all corny and sucker 💩

Flattery is not the greatest form of imitation. It's called being a COPY CAT in elementary....no imagination, no integrity, and using someone's hardwork and motion because you have none and no real skill or imagination. It's corny, wack, lame, unprofessional, uninspiring bamma 💩.

Pulled up on Chinatown in Bladenboro, NC. It’s your everyday Chinese carryout—nothing too fancy—but that steak & cheese egg roll definitely separates itself from the pack. 🔥 If you stop through, THAT’S what you need to order!
