The Media Arts Center offers professional, broadcast quality video editing services, for commercials, corporate communications and feature films. Hamden, Connecticut based 6,000 sq ft facility, including a 30’ X 35’ sound dampened studio with 16 ft ceiling and lighting grid. The studio can be rented hourly, with or without equipment, for productions, rehearsals and meetings. Available is seating f

or 50, a 14' projection screen, green, white, black and gray backgrounds, RED cameras, all LED variable lights, a PA system, and free parking. offers professional, broadcast quality video editing services, having produced content for networks like PBS, ABC, and FOX, radio and TV commercials and 11 feature films to-date. We can create or conform videos for the web, broadcast, or theatrical distribution. The Center also offers various post-production services including color correction, 5.1 sound mix creation, Closed Captioning, transcription, foreign language conversion (subtitling and/or voice-over), time-coded proxy videos, scripting, DVD authoring/mastering, and package design. Format conversion (tape to digital and digital to digital): We can convert tapes to digital files for viewing or editing through our Teranex system. In many cases, frame rates can be converted, and SD sources can be up-rezed to 16×9 HD without cropping any of the frame. Accepted formats: HDCAM, Digital BetaCam, BetaCam SX, BetaCamSP, BetaCam, DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO, 3/4” SP (Umatic), HDV, DVCAM, DV, MiniDV, Hi8, 8mm (video tape), SVHS, VHS, VHS-C, and DVD
