We wish to extend special thanks to AVIV Mental Health for supporting our 2026 Paws and Listen Concert as a Platinum Paws Headliner Sponsor. Thanks in part to their support, we were able to raise $10,000 through the event to benefit Vintage Paws Rescue!

AVIV is an outpatient mental health counseling practice with locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island offering a unique approach to therapy.

AVIV believes that therapy should meet people where they are. Their clinicians provide a range of experiential and traditional therapeutic options, including office-based sessions, walk-and-talk therapy, EMDR, eco/nature therapy, and animal-assisted psychotherapy (farm and office-based). By integrating these approaches, they create opportunities for healing that feel natural, grounded, and personalized.

Accessibility remains central to their work. AVIV accepts all major insurance plans and works hard to ensure care is available to those who need it. Their team is made up of experienced clinicians, including licensed mental health counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists, who are deeply committed to compassionate, ethical, and client-centered care.

Since opening, AVIV has continued to grow with one guiding purpose: helping people access the support they deserve in ways that feel supportive, respectful, and empowering.

With all the acts we will be putting on stage this year at 21 Songwriters Maryland, 21 Songwriters Philadelphia, 21 Songwriters Vermont, 21 Songwriters Hudson NY, 21 Songwriters Western New England, 21 Songwriters Connecticut, 21 Songwriters West Virginia, Silk City Music Festival, CT Folk Fest, & The Rising - we’ll be doing a lot of these introductions 🎵

And this morning, we have the honor of introducing two more artists who will be performing at the 1st Annual 21 Songwriters Music Festival (Maryland Edition) on Saturday May 16th in Frederick, MD…

Lynn Hollyfield & Robert C Fullerton!

Lynn Hollyfield:
Like mellow golden autumn leaves falling from a sugar maple tree, there’s a quiet beauty in tradition. A delicate sacred space in folk music where songs can paint landscapes. Where melodies and arrangements sit comfortably inside the roots of Americana without ever feeling dated. Instead, they feel like a reminder. A breath. A return to something real in a world that constantly forces us to live too fast, want too much, and never be satisfied.

The music of Lynn Hollyfield lives in that space.
Her songs feel like they belong at the intersection where traditional folk and Americana meet whimsical poetry, sonic subtlety, and the kind of tasteful instrumentation that knows when to speak and when to stay out of the way. There are moments where she taps into the same timeless pocket that artists like Rita Coolidge carried when she collaborated with Graham Nash, music that doesn’t demand your attention but earns it with patience and grace.

Lynn also carries hints of old time jazz and southern roots in her delivery, giving her sound a warmth and richness that feels both familiar and rare. She commands a song, a story, and a melody with effortless emotion, weaving herself into your thoughts until you suddenly realize you’ve been nodding along, fully transported into a world she quietly built around you.

We are honored to welcome Lynn Hollyfield to the 1st Annual 21 Songwriters Music Festival (Maryland Edition) on May 16th at Monocacy Brewing in Frederick, MD.

This is a free admission event, and we will be collecting donations throughout the day to support Warrior Canine Connection.

Robert C. Fullerton:
The music of Robert C. Fullerton doesn’t rush to meet you. It settles in. It finds its way into the quiet crevices of the soul the same way dust settles between the timbers of an old New England log cabin, slowly, discreetly, and for good. His songs feel like the nearly inaudible creak of floorboards, the faint smell of wood stove embers lingering from the night before, a cast iron skillet cooling on the windowsill, seasoned by decades of meals made from whatever crumbs life could spare.

Perfection isn’t a language Fullerton’s music speaks. Instead, he seizes each moment for exactly what it is, finding beauty in the cracks and carrying perspective and hope inside the flaws. His songs do not polish away the rough edges. They honor them, presenting imperfection as a kind of earned wisdom.
A student of the world around him, Fullerton writes with the notebook of a blue collar philosopher and plays with the relaxed, finger picked confidence of a laid back Leo Kottke. He can wax poetic about a vintage dashboard Jesus ornament one moment, then turn around and invite you to come to his table the next, no matter who you are or where you’re from, as long as you arrive with a good heart.

Robert C. Fullerton is the kind of songwriter who makes a room quieter in the best way.
We are honored to welcome Robert C. Fullerton to the 1st Annual 21 Songwriters Music Festival (Maryland Edition) on May 16th at Monocacy Brewing in Frederick, MD, in partnership with Focus Music.

This is a free admission event, but you can reserve your free passes in advance at BiggerBeastRecords.com. We will also be collecting donations throughout the day to support Warrior Canine Connection.

Saturday at the 2nd Annual Paws & Listen Festival was an absolute joy as 12 songwriters performed for a packed house in Rhode Island and raised over $10k for Vintage Pet Rescue!

So when’s the next Bigger Beast event you ask?

Well next on our list is the Inaugural 21 Songwriters Festival (Maryland Edition) on May 16th in partnership with Focus Music at Monocacy Brewing!

Free admission artist workshops start at 12 noon!

The main stage starts at 430pm!

And this evening I have the honor to introduce you to the 1st 2 artists that will make up this incredible lineup! Gabrielle Zwi & Shawn Taylor!

Gabrielle Zwi:
Carrying a vocal that harnesses the richness and definition of Lucinda Williams with the hopeful, introspective fervor of Molly Tuttle, Gabrielle Zwi writes with the kind of perspective that stops you in your tracks. The kind of artist who can drop a line like:

“Fall in love with yourself at your deepest roots, water the trees that grow inside of you”

…and make it feel less like a lyric and more like a life lesson you didn’t know you needed.

With a rich musical background rooted in jazz and bossa nova, Gabrielle weaves those textures into brilliantly composed, instantly ear grabbing songs that explore love, identity, and the rollercoaster of simply being human. Their music is soulful without being heavy, poetic without being pretentious, and emotionally honest in a way that feels rare.

Armed with a ukulele, an informed sense of humanity and community, and a protest driven fire in their heart, this Jewish Brazilian American songwriter makes music that is eclectic yet precise, bold yet welcoming. It’s the kind of sound that feels deeply personal, but somehow ends up belonging to everyone in the room.

Gabrielle Zwi doesn’t just perform songs. They build bridges.

The Bigger Beast Records and All Boats Rise Entertainment team is absolutely honored to welcome Gabrielle Zwi to the 1st Annual 21 Songwriters Music Festival (Maryland Edition) on May 16th, in partnership with Focus Music, at Monocacy Brewing in Frederick, MD.

This is a free admission event, but you can reserve your passes now at BiggerBeastRecords.com. We will be collecting donations throughout the day to support Warrior Canine Connection.

Come early, bring a friend, and don’t miss Gabrielle Zwi.

Shawn Taylor:
Shawn Taylor sings with a J.J. Grey esque growl and a Jack Johnson level heart, the kind of voice that makes you want to kick off your Birkenstocks, lean back, and brace yourself for a harmonica solo that feels both celebratory and necessary. A southern Connecticut powerhouse, Taylor has a way of turning any room he walks into a pop up church in the middle of the mountains, one where you swear you’re lost, only to realize you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

A true one man band, Shawn often feels like he showed up straight out of your darkest days just to remind you that yes, it might be raining, but there’s still joy to be found dancing in the puddles. His songs do not deny hardship. They stand right in it, smiling, sleeves rolled up.

Taylor writes and performs the way he lives, leading with his heart, refusing to quit, and filling everyone else’s cup long before he considers his own. A husband, father, and nature loving journeyman, he carries the kind of empathy that can only be earned through hard fought life battles balanced by quiet contemplative hours staring at a river and untangling life’s mysteries. He is a man who leaves nothing in the tank.

And now, Shawn is bringing that road worn magic to Maryland.

We are honored to welcome Shawn Taylor to the 1st Annual 21 Songwriters Music Festival (Maryland Edition) on May 16th at Monocacy Brewing in Frederick, MD, in partnership with Focus Music.

We are also thrilled to announce that Shawn’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “Gotta Serve Somebody” will be released on Bigger Beast Records on May 1st, a perfect match for an artist whose music has always felt like equal parts grit, soul, and redemption.

This is a free admission event, and we will be collecting donations throughout the day to support Warrior Canine Connection.

Come early, clear your day, and do not miss Shawn Taylor.

It’s going to be absolutely incredible.

But at Bigger Beast Records / All Boats Rise Entertainment… it seems like every day we’re cooking up something new.

We’ve built a team of artists, music lovers, and community builders who truly believe in the power of live music to create real impact — and honestly…

more hands make less work… and a MUCH bigger impact.

So with that said…

🚨 Tonight I’m proud to announce a brand new Bigger Beast event:

THE RISING 🌅🎶

In the spirit of our annual Shelter From The Storm event…
…but this time we put the Bob Dylan songbook back on the shelf…

…and pulled out the 21 studio albums and 100+ live albums of THE BOSS.

Yeah… that’s right.

🎸🔥 BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN. 🔥🎸

🎤 THE RISING

📍 WeHa Brewing & Roasting – West Hartford, CT
July 11th

15 artists.2 stages.Every artist performs:🎶 one original song🎶 one Bruce Springsteen song

All to raise money for our friends at Neighborhood Promise, who are doing truly powerful work lifting up communities in Central Connecticut and fighting housing insecurity.

We held an amazing event for them in February… but the truth is, times are tougher now more than ever - and we realized one event a year simply isn’t enough.

So we’re turning our local songwriter home base into a full-on festival ground…

🌙🍻🎶 WeHa Brewing & Roasting becomes an outdoor concert venue as we build a BIG stage outside.

WeHa has been hosting and paying original songwriters every weekend for over 3 years in partnership with Bigger Beast - and once again they jumped in without hesitation to support artists and community.

🚨 THIS WILL SELL OUT.

🎟️ Please reserve your FREE tickets in advance and come join us for a July night I’m certain you’ll never forget.

There’s a lot happening in the Bigger Beast world, and it’s not always easy to get all the news out there… but yesterday evening something we started brainstorming back in December officially began.

Bigger Beast Records + Analog Hype Machine (our soon-to-launch digital music magazine) kicked off the first recording session of a brand new annual project: 11 artists. One barn. One vinyl. One mission.

Yesterday afternoon, we recorded the first of 11 live acoustic sessions in a barn that our teammate Marc Apostolides meticulously transformed into a recording space.

Here’s how it works:
Each year we’ll select 11 acts to perform a set in the barn. Then we’ll choose one song from each artist to be featured on a limited edition vinyl release coming this winter.

And here’s the best part…

This record will only be pressed one time — and 100% of the proceeds go directly to our annual Bigger Beast Records Holiday Toy Drive, benefiting Toys for Tots here in New England.

Last year’s toy drive concert brought in close to $4,000 worth of toys. This year, with the help of this vinyl release, we’re aiming for $10,000.

We want to fill a box truck to the ceiling with toys every year!

So who’s on Volume One?

Yesterday, Jessica Smucker became the first artist to record her session (check out the photos!).

The rest of the artists scheduled to record over the next 40 days are:
• Jesse Terry
• Sam Robbins
• Halley Neal
• Danielle Miraglia
• Bryan Titus
• Kentavius Jones
• Laura Clapp
• Kemp Harris
• Rees Shad
• Frank Viele

Limited to 250 copies, pressed on 180-gram colored vinyl, and mastered in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, this will be an annual release showcasing live acoustic performances from 11 independent singer-songwriters across North America — all to raise money for Toys for Tots and shine a spotlight on incredible artists.

We’ll keep you updated as track listings and session videos get finalized…

…but preorders officially start today.
