MVP runner up last year and was 0 for 36 before hitting the IL. Currently the Mariners are 21-23 2 games behind the A’s for 1st in a division that’s terrible. Besides the AL West, the AL Central is another division that’s a disaster as well.
Coming into rivalry weekend the Atlanta Braves (Hotlanta) are 30-13 best in baseball. Last year at this time the Braves were 21-22 and finished 2025 with a 76-86 record 20 games out. The Mariners finished 90-72 taking the AL West. The Yankees are 27-17 and last year at this time were 25-18 basically on the same pace as a year ago. Judge who has 15 home runs had the same amount at this time last season. The 1st Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets is tomorrow with Cam 5-1 with a 1.35 era going against former Yankee Clay Holmes.
