🏆 CLASS 3A STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Hanover Central finished the mission.

One year after falling just short in the state finals, the Wildcats returned to Purdue and captured the Class 3A State Championship with a 6-4 victory over New Palestine. Hanover Central's second state softball title and first since 2004 capped off an unforgettable 26-6 season.

Sophomore ace Jillian DeYoung delivered a championship performance in the circle, tossing a complete game with 11 strikeouts while also driving in a run at the plate. Sienna Stilley helped spark the offense as the Wildcats never trailed after taking the lead in the second inning.
