The city of Vineland’s bi-weekly city council meeting was held Tuesday night, Dec. 9, where approximately 100 members of the public filled the council chamber for the third week in a row. The main reason for the increase in attendance has been the construction of the A.I. data center being built on South Lincoln Ave in Vineland.
On the consent agenda for council was a resolution to provide $6,198,786 in the form of a revolving loan fund to the company DataOne-USA a partner of Nebius Group, who are constructing a proposed 2.4 million square foot data center, that would use approximately 300 mega-watts of electricity.
