🌿 Devotional: “Stop Saying ‘I’m Fine’”

Scripture: John 4:6–7 – “Jesus, tired from the journey, sat down by the well… When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, ‘Will you give me a drink?’”

Reflection:
Even Jesus rested. Yet we treat exhaustion like failure. We hide our need behind “I’m fine” because we think transparency disqualifies us. But at the well, honesty opened the door to transformation. Jesus didn’t need her water—He needed her truth. The same is true for us. God meets us where we stop pretending.

Coaching Insight:
Authenticity is the birthplace of sustainable healing. Every time you say, “I’m fine,” when you’re not, you teach your brain that your needs don’t matter.

Prayer:
God, meet me where I am—not where I pretend to be. Strip the script. Teach me that my truth is safe with You. Amen.

We get so good at managing pain that we start mistaking it for healing.
We pray, serve, work, post—all while bleeding internally.
But healing isn’t found in doing more; it’s found in being still enough for God to get to the root.

When I finally stopped trying to prove I was okay, God didn’t fix my life first—He fixed me.

🌿 Devotional: “At the Root”

Scripture: Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Reflection:
Pain doesn’t always come to punish—it comes to reveal. Most of us learned to survive before we ever learned to feel safe. We patched up what was visible and ignored what was buried. But roots rot in silence. God doesn’t expose what’s hidden to embarrass you—He exposes it to heal you. The ache you feel isn’t proof of distance; it’s evidence that He’s near.

Coaching Insight:
Awareness is the first act of healing. What you name, you can nurture.

Prayer:
Lord, show me the roots, not just the fruit. Reveal where I started performing instead of trusting. Pull up what’s been poisoning my peace. Heal me beneath the surface. Amen.
