A heartfelt THANK YOU to the City of Hamtramck for recognizing the work we’re doing in prevention and recovery within our local community. Your support means the world to us, and we’re truly honored to serve this incredible city.
Also, a BIG shoutout to our amazing friends at Hamtramck Mutual Aid and Hamtramck Arts & Culture Commission — our building wouldn’t look nearly this beautiful without your incredible help, hard work, and dedication. We’re so grateful for your partnership and everything you do!

We have been noticing the work many of you residents and business owners have been doing and we think it is fantastic. This summer we will be giving social media shoutouts to folks who thoughtfully clean and beautify their homes and businesses.

This week we are recognizing Passenger Recovery at 2697 Caniff. Not only do they maintain a beautiful pollinator garden, but they are doing incredible work for the community. With impressive and comprehensive programming, they are addressing a real need within Hamtramck.

We are very grateful for their support, donations, and use of a meeting space for our volunteers.

Thank you for the excellent work and your commitment to Hamtramck.

We would also like to recognize “Contractor Dan” who was working on the parking lot behind City Hall, and bought breakfast for Every Neighbor volunteers before a workday. This was a spontaneous act that brought so much joy, and we are deeply grateful. It is so nice to see kindness beget kindness.
