I have not posted in a while because life has been all grad school, all work, and very little room to slow down. But last weekend, I made space for my suga plum.
Phi and I went on a mother/daughter date to see Wicked for Good. We had hibachi (my favorite), then hit Five Below for some Wicked goodies. It was so much fun. The movie was beautiful. Not gon’ lie, a G shed a tear. There was one scene that wasn’t graphic but was a little too much for my 7-year-old’s eyes, so I had to hit her with the cover-your-face moment. Not round here, potna.
Sharing this movie with her made it so special. She has been talking about it to anyone who will listen, mainly her 14-year-old brother.
I am hoping to find my way back to reading, posting, and being present here more often.
Grad school journey is almost done. Bear with me.
