The largest bank chain in Hanover is Bank of America-- they offer some deals for first year students. We also have Citizens Bank, Mascoma Savings Bank and Lake Sunapee Bank in town.

If you love ice cream, I recommend doing the tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory in VT-- googlemaps says it's about a 1 hour, 9 minute drive from campus. You can also stop along the Cabot Cheese and Cold Hollow Apple Cider stores where you can taste everything! (Sorry lactose intolerant folks!)

Current President Jim Wright is known for holding big ice cream socials on the Green for the entire camous-- today is his very last one. Join us in celebrating his incredible contributions to the College by tuning in to the we**am overlooking the Green between 2:30 and 4:30 PM EST!

Located in the tower of Baker Library, this camera provides a live view of the College Green, continuously updated. From this vantage point, you can also see the Hopkins Center and the Hanover Inn. A time lapse movie of last year's commencement ceremony is now available.
