WXBC is the only daily local news source in Breckinridge County. We broadcast local news Monday through Saturday at 5am, 6am, 7am, 8am, 12 noon, and 4pm. On Sunday, you can hear local news updates at 6am, 7am, 9am, and at 12 noon. Along with comprehensive coverage of all the local news, you get Breckinridge County's only local weather source. WXBC is the official reporting station for the National

Weather Service, and during times of severe weather you can depend on us for constant weather updates. WXBC is committed to Breckinridge County. The Good Samaritan Center USDA Food Distribution began on Monday, October 20th and will continue through October 23rd. The distribution hours each day are from 8:30-12:00 CST. Please drive to the side of the building by the overhead door and do not leave your vehicle. If you still need to sign up for USDA Foods, please stop by to complete a form. We would be glad to help you through this process. Please do not block any intersections while waiting in line for food distribution.
