🎨 BIG Talent, Tiny Canvas! 🖌️

Calling all creators! Do you have a masterpiece waiting to be released?

The Franklin County Public Library, Rocky Mount Branch is looking for local artists to join the Tiny Canvas challenge!

It’s time to think small and dream big.
Here is how you can participate:

Step 1: Visit the Children’s Circulation Desk at the Rocky Mount Branch to pick up your mini canvas and entry form.

Step 2: Create your tiny masterpiece! (Just remember: subject matter must be rated G).

Step 3: Return your completed canvas and entry form to the Rocky Mount Branch by June 1st.

Wednesday mornings just got a whole lot better! ☀️

I dropped by the Moneta Farmers Market this morning, and it’s officially back for the season! If you’re looking for fresh finds and friendly faces, this is the place to be.

I was blown away by the variety today:

🥓 The Goods: Local meats, jerky, and fresh eggs.

🍯 Sweet Treats: Tons of honey varieties, fresh bread, and delicious baked goods.

🥤 Sips: Coffee, specialty teas, and even dirty sodas!

🌿 Home & Garden: Beautiful plants, local veggies (more coming soon!), and local handmade body products.

After a long day yesterday and a pretty "interesting" morning, there was only one thing left to do: find a way to regulate and reconnect. 🐾

We spent the early afternoon at Franklin County Humane Society Planned Pethood & Adoption Center, and it was exactly what the soul needed.

Did you know they offer unique ways to socialize with the animals?

You can hang out in the cat rooms to read and relax, or even get some one-on-one time with the dogs.

Huge shoutout to the outstanding staff and volunteers who make this place so special! 🐾

The FCHS greenhouse is packed with student-grown beauties ready to find a home in your garden.

Come support our FFA members, every purchase helps fund their program.
