The boil water advisory for Harlan Water customers has been lifted.

At this time, all Black Mountain Utility customers remain under a boil water advisory, with the exception of Evarts customers.

Customers who are still under the advisory should continue to boil water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth until further notice.

We will continue to share updates as they become available.

Harlan City Water customers, as well as Black Mountain Utility customers (excluding Evarts customers), remain under a boil water advisory.

Officials report that water samples have been received at the Pikeville testing facility, with results expected tomorrow afternoon.
