Throwback to when I had locs and got to see Usher LIVE! 🎶 If you think I missed that concert, you clearly don’t know me. 😆 Just because it didn’t make the ‘gram, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Let me take you back. My very first Usher concert was with my mom—she knew I was OBSESSED. We drove all the way to Philly after I won tickets and $1,000 on HOT97. That’s right, $1,000—talk about divine favor. 😌 I’ll never forget the outfit I wore, or the energy of that night. Fast forward to another year, and I was at Madison Square Garden, solo dolo. Why wait for anyone when I can go live my best life? I had floor seats and even got pulled up on stage! 🙈 Picture it: me in all white with a crop top and big red hair, shy but glowing.

Afterward, I hit up Club Slate in NYC to meet my friends, still buzzing from that magical night. (IYKYK) But I wasn’t done. Oh no, I was so hyped that I booked another ticket—front row this time—and drove all the way to Atlantic City just to see him again!

Usher’s performances are everything—the man is a legend. I’m selective about who I stan, but Usher Terry Raymond IV from Chattanooga, Tennessee? Pure talent. Always has been, always will be.

Sidebar: If you’re a real Usher fan, you KNOW his debut album “USHER” and his throwback hit “Just Call Me a Mack.” If you don’t know that, don’t even think about calling yourself a superfan. “MY WAY” wasn’t his first rodeo, y’all. 😝
