🚨 Attention Realtors, Roofers, and Anyone Using Drones for Listings or Inspections 🚨
If you’re flying a drone for ANY business purpose — real estate photos, roof inspections, marketing videos, you name it — you must have an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
It’s not just a “good idea”… it’s the law.
📜 FAA regulations clearly state that any drone use tied to a business or for compensation (even indirectly) requires a licensed pilot.
✅ Being licensed means:
You’ve passed the FAA knowledge exam
You know airspace rules, safety, and flight regulations
You carry yourself as a professional in the industry
❌ Skipping the license means:
You’re risking hefty fines for yourself and your client
You could invalidate insurance coverage
You’re undermining those of us who do this the right way
Don’t be “that guy” — the one cutting corners and putting everyone at risk. There are professionals out here who have invested the time, training, and money to operate legally and safely.
💡 Bottom line: If it’s for business, you need a license. Hire someone who’s FAA-certified, or get certified yourself.
Let’s keep the skies safe and the playing field fair. ✈️📸
