What a remarkable opportunity and experience. MACA students had the chance to learn about and produce the process of creating a commercial for Sabal Dentistry in Harlingen. They met with the client, wrote a script and storyboard, and once approved, scheduled a time and day to record. Now, they move on to editing. This experience provided valuable insight into the real-world professional environment.

MACA is experiencing significant growth and development. Recently, students had the opportunity to visit the Harlingen PD, where they were shown the podcast setup and received a tour courtesy of Officer Curry, who also facilitated a meeting with the new Chief of Police, Alfredo Alvear. Furthermore, students commentated during the HHS Homecoming Parade and wrapped up the week by assisting at the football game, thereby acquiring new skills and experience.
