THE VAQUERAS EARN THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON AGAINST PRAIRIE VIEW A&M

Jacob Young gives us the details of what happened tonight at the UTRGV Soccer and Track and Field Complex.

Isabella scored a brace tonight against a Panthers side that was overwhelmed by the Vaqueras offensive power, especially through outside the box shots.

Defensively, the Vaqueras looked very stout as well. Both Veronica Pacione and Mariana Amezcua saw action on goal for the shutout tonight.

The team will be back home on August 30 when they will take on Texas A&M International.

Capital City SC Kicked Out of The League for Clubs National Finals! Who's at Fault? 🤔

The Squawk is back! On this episode, will dive into the latest lower league soccer controversy, this time involving Capital City SC and The League for Clubs.

After Capital City SC won the South Regional Final against Pensacola FC, The League for Clubs announced that an internal investigation launched after game revealed that the club had played with an ineligible player.

As a result of this, the club would be forced to forfeit the match and kicked out of the TLFC National Finals allowing Pensacola to take their place.

The club, however, argues that the mistake was a result of negligence by the league to verify in a timely manner that the roster was vetted for ineligible players.

Some quick updates on the mod I've been working on and off since year 1 😅

With new mod applications come new modding possibilities. One of these is the ability to take advantage of EAFC 26's Cranium to create custom faces for added players.

So far, I've only created the following 4 players of the 2026 roster:
-Vicente Alvarez
-Arev Vera
-Diego Rivera
-Isidro Martinez

Some of these faces require some more tuning to reach my satisfaction, but so far it looks really awesome... but I'm biased lol

JOHAN AREVALO RETURNS TO EQUALIZE AGAINST BTX

Just a couple of minutes after the RGV Red Crowns conceded a goal against BTX SC, Johan Arevalo comes up big to equalize the game early for the Red Crowns.

Arnas Kurakinas anticipates the BTX defender to receive a good cross from Mundo Lorca. Kurakinas dribbles the ball towards the goal line, the crosses the towards the penalty spot to an unmarked Arevalo.

ERIK CORONADO AND BTX STUN THE RED CROWNS EARLY

When it appeared that the Red Crowns were closest to opening the score, Erik Coronado takes advantage of a quick counterattack to catch the RGV defense unorganized.

Although Izhaid Gamez was able to track back to try to contain Coronado, an unlucky rebound on the tackle left Coronado through to Alberto Yañez's goal.

Despite Yañez's attempt to close down the angles, Coronado's shot is able to sneak past and into the net, giving BTX SC an early 0-1 lead.

AND HE STILL HAS THE GALL TO COMPLAIN TO THE REF ABOUT THE RED CARD 🙄

At around the 54th minute of last Friday's match, BTX SC striker Kevin Ochoa throws two quick punches that make contact with RGV Red Crowns winger Vicente Alvarez.

After being notified by his linesman, the referee makes the decision to show Ochoa a straight red, leaving BTX SC down to 10 men for most of the second half.

"He has disowned the Ochoa last name and must be put to shame" our co-host declared to absolutely no one.

Btw, I hear Bronco 956 is still looking for an opponent(?) 🤔🥊
