The Senior Multimedia Producer is responsible for ideating to help generate local content, cross-departmental communication/production, vetting of independent production, and producing content from concept to broadcast. The ideal candidate is curious about the intersection of local and national news and culture, and a skilled audio and video produce. This position reports to the Program Director and works closely with producers, news team, and audience editor, and others to deliver polished, community centered programming across platforms.
This person must innately understand the digital landscape, including trends, opportunities, audience behavior, community management, and intersections with social media. They will ensure that our content reaches and serves diverse audiences, builds healthy engagement, and maximizes sustainability.
