NGMA is proud to introduce our new logo! We'll be unveiling the logo this weekend at Cultivate’25, the green-industry expo hosted by AmericanHort at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Our new modern brand identity symbolizes NGMA’s vision to lead innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the greenhouse manufacturing sector.

Planning to exhibit at Cultivate? We will have a “Proud Member of NGMA” sign featuring the new logo to display at your booth!

The new logo will be gradually implemented across NGMA’s digital platforms, member communications, educational materials, and the upcoming 2026 Annual Meeting branding, ensuring a cohesive and refreshed brand presence for NGMA.

Every year, NGMA awards scholarships to students majoring in horticulture and bioengineering. Last year's recipient was Rylee Brown of West Plains, Missouri. A student at the University of Arkansas, she is completing her undergraduate studies in agriculture, majoring in horticulture, landscape, and turf sciences.

Rylee has a special interest in tomato production, breeding, and preserving heirloom tomato varieties and other vegetables and flowers. She plans to continue her education in graduate school with a career goal of working in greenhouse production or seed industries.

“This scholarship is greatly appreciated by myself and my family,” she said. “As a junior at the University of Arkansas, I will be able to use this scholarship to help me finish out the last two years of my undergraduate education.”

There are three main alternatives to using pesticides:

1️⃣ Biological Control: A system of reducing pest populations through the action of living organisms, which are encouraged and released by the grower.

2️⃣ Cultural Control: To inhibit fungal disease use wider spacing between plants.

3️⃣ Mechanical Control: The process of removing diseased plants.
