A POV of me delivering an unplugged announcement before a ceremony, which can set the day off right in so many ways!
This is my first opportunity to interact with guests, getting to meet them this early is a huge connection and confidence builder.
Removing one thing from your officiant’s to-do list is a great idea, especially if it’s a family member or friend.
Since a cell phone technically CAN interfere with the mics, I love to do a live sound and connection test with as many guests there as possible. A speed bump in a test means success when it matters 👌🏼
It was really windy out which provided challenges but it was a once in a lifetime ceremony, literally, that has never been done on the course, and probably will never be done again 💪🏼
