A couple months back, The Happe Lifestyle helped connect people facing homelessness with the opportunity to work on a concrete slab project at Bonnie Plants.

They showed up ready to contribute and made a real impact on the project.

Happe Friday!

Last weekend, a simple walk back to the car turned into something much bigger.

We met Troy in Baltimore, and he shared a small part of his story with us. After losing a job he had for 26 years, he is now fighting for food, shelter, and a way forward.

In this video, you will hear Troy speak for himself, and you will also see what The Happe Lifestyle is truly about: stopping, listening, helping, and seeing the person in front of us.

Happe Wonderful Wednesday!

Earlier this week, Dante took a beautiful step forward after getting to a job interview with the Harrisburg School District.

Now he is waiting on clearances and paperwork, but his heart and mindset are what really stand out.

In this video, Dante talks about the bumps, the hurdles, and how he is not done yet. He wants to be a success story, and he wants to inspire somebody else to keep going too.

That is a beautiful thing.

Happe Monday!

Today we wanted to showcase how work gives people more than a paycheck.

It gives pride, purpose, and a reason to keep moving forward.

Just a while back, Luongo’s Barbecue in Middletown gave people facing homelessness the opportunity to work, and The Happe Lifestyle was proud to help make that connection possible.

They cleaned kitchen areas, helped organize the space, moved equipment, and took pride in the job.

These are beautiful humans who deserve to be seen for their effort, not judged by their situation.

Give someone a chance and watch what they can do.

One ID can open a lot of doors.

Today, Brendan took another important step forward. After everything he has been through, he now has his Pennsylvania ID and is working toward the documents he needs for employment, stability, and eventually getting back on the road again.

This may seem small to some people, but for someone trying to rebuild, it is huge.

Today is a big day for The Happe Lifestyle.

We are excited to introduce... Happe Huts, a project built around the heart of our mission: creating real homes, real jobs, and real opportunities for people facing homelessness.

Yes, we love helping people in the moment, but the bigger goal has always been to help people move forward with stability, purpose, and a place to belong.

Something big is coming. After months of planning and hard work, The Happe Lifestyle is taking the next step toward Happe Huts.

We want to give a special thank you to Todd Spar, whose work helped make The Happe Lifestyle an official nonprofit, and to Penn State for their support, research, grant work, and development around this mission.
